Zoi Argyriou is a very passionate and dedicated percussionist, musician and performer born in Trikala, Greece.  From a very young age she showed her interest in the world of classical music and very quickly turned to contemporary music, in which she specialises as a soloist, member of chamber music ensembles and improviser, with a keen interest in extended techniques and unconventional forms of artistic expression. Her quest for challenging learning opportunities inspired her to move to Germany and Switzerland and to work closely with renowned teachers, musicians and composers of our time.

Zoi is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Specialised Music Performance - Contemporary Music at the Hochschule der Künste Bern. She holds a Master’s degree in Timpani and Solo Percussion from the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Science and Art with a specialisation in Percussion from the University of Macedonia.

She is a founding member of the newly formed Percussion Trio “Tri-badabum.” She has also participated in various projects, including the recording of Enno Poppe's "Schrauben" at the WDR Funkhaus and performances at the Ruhrtriennale and the Usinesonore Festival.
